| Description | Two panels of handwoven, handspun cotton yarn dyed with natural dyes (indigo and morinda citrifolia) in blue, rust, and brown. Warp ikat, hand-sewn along inner selvedges.. Two cloth panels joined together. Each end features striped bands replacing warp-faced cloth with weft-faced borders, with loose warp ends hanging below. Central decoration displays warp ikat patterns with symmetrical design about the horizontal axis. Motifs include flower shapes with stems, naga figures, lions rampant wearing crowns, four-legged creatures with pronged horns and curved tails, birds, and pairs of turtles separated by fish or dolphins against a rust-coloured ground |
